Portfolio Operations Platform
Every plant.
From one screen.
The EMS Cloud gives operators a single interface for every plant in their portfolio — live performance data, state of health, alarm history, and bidirectional remote control. Whether managing one site or a portfolio across multiple countries, the data is always current and the commands always reach the field.

02 —Platform Capabilities
Three things the platform
does from day one
The EMS Cloud is not a dashboard layer on top of a separate control system. Monitoring, optimisation, and reporting share the same data pipeline — from the field device to the operator's browser with no manual re-entry.
Live system health
Real-time data on state of charge, state of health, temperature, and power flow across every rack in every plant. Fault events are logged with full context for rapid diagnosis — no plant visit required.
Charge and dispatch control
Schedule charge and discharge cycles around tariff windows, renewable production, and demand patterns. The platform continuously adapts dispatch to maximise the value delivered from stored energy.
Performance reporting
Historical data and exportable performance reports for every asset. Designed to support operational reviews, warranty claims, and degradation tracking across the full system lifetime.
03 —Full Feature Set
Operations and integration
in one platform
The platform is designed for operators who manage energy storage assets as an ongoing business — not just a commissioning checklist. Every feature is built around the daily workflow of a portfolio operations team.
Operations
-
Single dashboard across all plants in a portfolio — no per-site logins
-
SoH monitoring across all racks; degradation data for asset management and warranty review
-
Full alarm history and event log, exportable for compliance and insurance purposes
-
Remote firmware updates and configuration changes without plant attendance
Integration
-
API access for third-party integration with SCADA and asset management systems
-
Compatible with on-premises deployment for operators with specific data residency requirements
-
Bidirectional control — commands reach field devices with sub-second latency
-
System continues operating autonomously if cloud connectivity is interrupted
04 —Data Pipeline
From the cell
to the cloud
Every measurement visible in the EMS Cloud originates at the cell level. The path from individual cell state to operator dashboard traverses four components — each owned and engineered by Nokto. There is no third-party data layer to configure, maintain, or blame.
01
Cell
Individual cell voltage, temperature, and state measured by the CMU at sub-second intervals
02
BMS per rack
SMU aggregates cell measurements, enforces hardware protection limits, and exposes state over CAN to the gateway
03
On-site gateway
Gateway acquires data from all devices, executes local control logic, and buffers telemetry for cloud delivery
04
EMS Cloud
Telemetry arrives at the platform, is stored in the historian, and becomes immediately visible in the operator dashboard
